Show Wranglers plan for Silver Anniversary PAROWAN - The Parowan Red Hill Wranglers held a meeting and dinner Saturday eveing with vice president Kay Chamberlain in charge. New members Mr. and Mrs. Larell Bagley were welcomed by club members. Practice nights have been scheduled at the race track to prepare for the district nine meet in Hurricane on July 19th. The Region show this year will be held in Price and the State Finals at Lagoon. The Wranglers are also making plans for their 25th annual 4th of July Race Meet. This year will represent the Silver Anniversary An-niversary of the 4th of July Show. Twenty-five consecutive con-secutive years the club has sponsored the annual event. Special feature races will be ran in honor of the occasion and a beautiful trophy will be awarded to the leading jockey of the day. The track and grounds are expected to be in top shape for the occasion with lush lawns and shade trees adding ad-ding to the comfort of racing fans. The Wranglers are also planning some summer trail rides and outdoor bar-beques. |
