Grace Smith and children, Mr. and Mrs ' Jishton Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Cordon Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Jdell Smith, Mr. and Mrs. i konald (Grace Marie) )ennis, Mr. and Mrs. Gary I Anna) Turner and Drex I ; imith. There were also a large number of grandchildren. Also among the friends who came from out-of-town to join with the many friends here were: Mr. and Mrs. Roland Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. David Anderson of Mesquite, Mr. and Mrs. John Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Nelson, St. George; Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Jones, St. George; Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Davenport, Clynn Davenport and his daughter. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Olds enjoyed having their entire family here for the first time in ten years. Mrs. Margo Bale and girls were her. Margo lives in Maryland. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Olds and children were here from Clearfield, Diane Young and son Sean of Denver. Also visiting here were Linda and Sara Oxborrow of Pahrump, Nev. Their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ned Oxburrow came over the week end to take them home. Joe Armbruster, Jr. is home with his family after spending the past two years in the U. S. Army. Recent visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Jones were Mr. and Mrs. Ron Van Mujin, and Mr. and Mrs. William Van Mujin, who were here for the graduation of Ed Van Mujin from SUSC. They also helped Mr. and Mrs. Ed Van Mujin to move back to California. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Smith enjoyed a visit from their daughter, Mrs. Judy Diamond and son of Salt Lake. She also visited with Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Barnett and son. Mr. and Mrs. Don Wilson were here from California to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Norman Grimshaw and family. Also visiting with Norman and Loleen were LaRell and Karen Gledhill and baby of Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. John Neff and children were here from Ruby Valley, Nev. to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Blattner and family. Mr. and Mrs. Arlen baby blessed. Mrs. Lillian Grimshaw accompanied her brother, Norman Adams of Cedar City, to attend a wedding reception in Enterprise. We had two wedding receptions in our area Friday eveing. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Reynolds were honored by their families. The new Mrs. Reynolds is the former Karla Millett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Veryl Millett. Amongh those who came from out-of-town to vist and attend were Mr. and Mrs. Carl Herrmann and family and Mrs. Ellen Parker of Rosemead, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wilcock and Grimshaw and family were here from Bountiful for a visit with Mr. and Mrs. George D. Grimshaw. Their son, Scott, is spending the summer working for Bishop Steven Grimshaw. Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Fillerup were in Provo last week to see their son as he left the Language Training School and depart for an LDS Mission. Mr. and Mrs. Dee H. Wilcken spent last week in Logan where Dee attended Mr. and Mrs. Jay Wilcken have recently moved back to this area from Midvale where Jay taught school last year. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Bishop and family were here from Murray over the weekend to have their new baby blessed and to be present when Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Woolsey had their , Mr. and Mrs. Scott Corbett ' of Las Vegas; Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Stout, Dell C. Stout, Danae Stout and Mrs. Leah Pierce of Hurricane. Also Margaretr and Hazel Stout and Annie Stout, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Millett of St. George, and many friends and relatives of Parowan and Cedar City. Also married on Friday "were Karla Esplin and John Bennion. Here to attend the wedding and reception were the bridegrooms family, Mr. and Mrs. Collin Bennion and their family, Dr. and Mrs. Serge Benson and Mr. and Mrs. Ross Wilson and baby all of Logan. Others who attended from out-of-town inbcluded: Mr. and Mrs. DeRay Pugh of Kaysville and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hart and family of New Castle; Mr. and Mrs. Cornell Chamberlain, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Pugh and children, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Chamberlain, and Mrs. Mary Ann Pugh and family, all of Blanding, and Mr. and Mrs. Roger Chamberlain of Glendale, and many more friends and relatives from this area. Last week I put the Mr. and Mrs. Rueben Carter were here from Minersville to visit with the Neal Carter family. It was Mr. and Mrs. Newell Carter. Sorry about that. |
