Show Mrs. Endsley tours Eastern States Mrs. H. M. Endsley has just returned from a months vacation touring the eastern states. She flew from Las Vegas, Nevada to St. Louis, Missouri, May 8th where she was met by her son, Dr. William R. Endsley, his wife Marsha and small daughter. "Bill' is an instructor at the University of Southern Illinois at Carbondale, 111. They began their two week trip in a comfortable van driving through the following states: Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Penn-sylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Maryland, Washington, D. C. Virginia, West Virginia and Kentucky. Visiting all the beautiful cities and taking in all the historical events of our country. Washington, D. C. and the Statue of Liberty were most impressive. While in Virginia they visited with Karl Braith-waite Braith-waite and family and Bill Lamb and family, both former Cedarites. , The country back there is very beautiful, although hot I and humid and also dryer than usual. Marie returned to Las Vegas via TWA on Monday, June 7th. After a wonderful trip it was good to be "back home", she reported. |
