Show 4th of July parade King and Queen Contest Registration for the King and Queen of the Annual Independence Day Parade to be held in Cedar City on July 4 is now in progress. Chairman for the event is Marian Woolsey. The miniature parade is sponsored by the Lady Lions and annual King and Queen and attendants are named to lead the activities. Selection is made through a drawing which is scheduled to be held Saturday, June 25. All children between the ages of 4 and 7 years old, as of July 4, are eligible, but they must be entered by their parents. Applications, a copy of which appears with this article, will be received through June 24. The drawing will be held at 10:30 a. m. Saturday, June 25 at North East Furniture. The winner will be announced at that time. Entries should be sent to Lady Lions King and Queen Contest, care of Marian Woolsey, 113 North 400 West, Cedar City, Utah 84720. |
