Ladies of Elks install Officers Installation ceremonies for the Cedar City Ladies of Elks were recently held at the Cedar City BPOE Lodge No. 1556. New officers were ushered in by outgoing director and past president, Virginia Miller. Past president, temping treats sparked the appetites for a dinner fit for a queen, cooked and served by the Past Exalted Rulers. Gifts of remembrance were presented to the outgoing officers while Mildred Thompson put the finishing touch to the evening as mistress of ceremonies. Barbara Nelson, installed the new officers and past presidents, Fern Urie and Kathryn Adams presented the corsages. Taking over as new officers of-ficers of the Ladies of Elks are: lone Lambert, president; Mary Fullmer, first vice president; Janis Clark, second vice president; Nancy Hale,' secretary; Jaine Adams, treasurer; Joanne Middleton, Chaplain; Dee Gibilterra, reporter; Val Rae Hamblin, historian. Members of the executive committee are Iona Clark, Jerry Berry and Ann Magionas. The new organist is Joy Anderson with Jerry Berry to serve as a state board member and Linda Ahlstrom as director.
