Show Ceramic, Sculpture and Art Display at SUSC distinguished artists at Utah State University, Mills College, ML St. Mary's College (Los Angeles) and the California College of Arts and Crafts. Her works are in architectural firms, businesses, educational institutions in-stitutions and numerous private collections. Carmen C. Jones currently teaches weaving in the SUSC Family Life Department. The artist is a graduate of Southern Utah State College, Utah State University and New York University. She is represented in numerous public and private collections. According to Prof. Thomas A. Leek, gallery curator, the exhibiting artists have distinguished themselves in their artistry through state, regional and national competitions as well as invitationsl exhibitions. Members of the campus-community campus-community and the general public are especially invited to see this exhibition, Prof. Leek said. Organized groups are asked to schedule their visits in advance. Continuing through August 6, an exhibition of ceramics, sculpturejand fiber arL by Mary M. MacDonald and Carmen C. Jones, is currently on display in the Braithwaite Fine Arts Gallery, Southern Utah State College, Cedar City. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday. Mary M. MacDonald currently teaches ceramics in the SUSC Art Department. The artist is a graduate of Southern Utah State College and has studied under |
