She is Gwen Westover, the former Gwen Laruitzen. Mrs. Westover graduated cum laude with a degree in Sociology -- social work and Gerontology emphasis. She minored in Psychology. Mrs. Westover indicated that she plans to enter graduate school at the University of Utah where she will specialize in Leisure Studies with a gerontology geron-tology emphasis. Eventually Mrs. Westover hopes to become a recreation specialist for the aged. Mrs. Westover's mother is La Verne Dobrusky of Parowan. She is the mother of eight sons, six living, and has one grandson.
