Show Basketball Clinic opens July 6 A Hall Reunion was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Hall Saturday and Sunday with the following family members present; Mrs. Annie S. Hall and daughter Mrs. Patricia Harding and her three daughters of Roy, Annie's sons Richard Hall and visitors with their parents Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Prince. Neldon Huntsman has returned home after several weeks in the LDS Hospital where he has been receiving Medical attention. We welcome Neldon home and want him to know the A four-week basketball clinic, offered through the Summer. School program of the Iron County School District, will open on Tuesday, July 6. Coach Dick Hobbs will direct the clinic for youth from the third through the twelfth grades. The clinic will be held Monday through Friday. Students from the ninth through the twelfth grades will participate from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Students from the 6th through the 8th will participate at 10 a.m. and students grades 3 through 5 will meet at 11 a.m. To register for :the clinic students should be at the Cedar City High School gymnasium Tuesday at the time designated for their particular age group. Those participating will have to provide their own clothing and towles. All other necessary equipment will be provided through the schools. Registration fee is $2, Coach Hobbs indicated. three sons of Grand Rapids, Mich., Mr. and Mrs. Elwyn Hall and three children of Pooenix, Ariz., Mr. and Mrs. David Hall and five children of Riverdale,, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Hall of Parowan, and daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. George (Janet) Goddard and two children of Cedar City, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald A. Hall, Mr. and Mrs. Horace A. Hall, son Douglas and daughter Mrs. Patsy Pratton and son, and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Schlosser and family of New Harmony. Lois and Janet Hall came Monday afternoon and stayed until Tuesday morning with Mr. and Mrs. Dean Hall. They were on their way to Las Vegas to visit her sister and family. Mr. Bill Northcutt visited om day last week with his frienc Fred Melville, Mr, Northcutt was from Abileen, Texas. Mrs. Gayle Ann Hansen of Sal Lake and a friend is hen Ward missed him. Mr. Huntsman Hunt-sman is the son of Bp. and Mrs. Cannon Huntsman. Mr. and Mrs. hprnas Pearce attended a .,, V Pearce reunion in Pine Valley Friday and Saturday. V Visitors one day last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. V Thomas Pearce were Mr. and Mrs. Antone Prince of St. George V and their daughter and husband Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Anderson f of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Prince are uncle and aunt of Mrs. V Pearce. Mrs. Leah Batty and Mrs. V Barbara Kelsey attended a Tupperware party in Cedar City V at the home of Mrs. Batty's daughter-in-law Mrs. Bern Batty, v Friday night the officers and j teachers and the Bishopric and v their partners held a Pot Luck , Supper up in the Kolob Canyon, r j Those attending were Bp. and I , Mrs. Cannon Huntsman, Mr. and v ' Mrs. Paul Beatty, Mr. and Mrs. . A good time was enjoyed by all. v Mr. and Mrs. Kelsey Taylor visited one day with his brother ' and sister-in-law Mr. and Mrs. I Leland Taylor and to attend 1 services for Mrs. Taylor. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Neilson v visited with their mother, aunt Emma Neilson and brother and i sister-in-law Mr. and Mrs. James I Doyle Neilson and family. Mr. v and Mrs. Neilson are from Parowan. i Mr. and Mrs. Richard Nyberg I and family were Saturday i visitors of their mother, Aunt 1 LaVerna Englestead. Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Prince and family, and Mr. and Mrs. i Roland Prince and daughter Elwin and Gary had a family v dinner for Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Prince on Father's Da, at their 1 parents home, also in attendance 1 were Mrs. LaDean Walker of Cedar City, Afton Grant and 1 Fred Melville of New Harmony, i While they were all together I Vivian and Marva's daughter i Deanna and son-in-law Robert ' Groke called from Vance AFB y Oklahoma to wish their father a Happy Father's Day and the , family all talked to their sister. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Williams and grandson Jeremie Williams of Salt Lake visited Thursday with Mrs. William's sister and family the Vivian Princes i Speakers in Sacrament ' meeting Sunday was High , Councilmen Jack Carter and Elder Mark Romberger. i spending a few days with Mrs. Hansen's father,, Afton Grant and to take her daughter Amy who has been here visiting with her grandfather and staying with her cousins Beth and Linda and Talonnie Prince, daughters of Lowell, and Sharon Prince, since Memorial weekend. Maxine M. Burdean, Helen Webster and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Pace visited Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Paces daughter and family, Mrs. Ted (Barbara) Kelsey and to attend the funeral services of Aunt Lureen Taylor, aunt of Maxine, Helen and Jack. Relatives attending the Lurene P. Taylor funeral were Minnie Macfarlane, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Olsen, Geneva Pace, Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Jones, Clair Neagle, Phyllis Purdy, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Macfarlane, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Macfarlane, Mr. and Mrs. Newell Kimball all of Ogden. Mr. and Mrs. Kent Gant and daughter Pamela, Royce Grant, Claude Grant, Mr. and Mrs. Ordell Walker, Beulah Cottam from Las Vegas, Brent Cottam, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Yokum, Mr. and Mrs. Doyle McMillan and family.
