Mr. and Mrs. Sherald Peterson of Boulder City, Nev. spent a few days here visiting with their sister Mrs. Ethna Williams, Barbara and Carma Williams and in Cedar Citv with their sister LaDene and Harlon Walker. Verl and Fonda Beckstead were in Las Vegas, Nev, Sat. to attend a Uvada MorgorL' Horse Meeting.. They were making plans for a horse hovf toSbe held the 1st and 2nd of May "in Las Vegas, Nev. Mrs. Maida Christensen spent the past two-weeks in LaHabra, Calif, with Dr. and Mrs. Wilford Berry. James and' Thelma Lovell spent a few days in Sunny visited Friday in Beaver with their son David. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Warby and family of New Mexico are here spending a week with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Murdock. The Warby's have a new baby a week old. Mike Hawkins of Huntington David Hawkins and friend of Ogden, spent the weekend here with their mother and sister, Lou Ella and Rosalie Hawkins. David was on his way to Calif, for camp with the Utah National Guard ' Reserves.- - ; ' Mr. and Mrs. Max Williams of Provo spent a few days here visiting their two brothers and sister Mr. and Mrs. Ross Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Williams and Fe.n and Henry Bauer and family. Miss Joan Leonard of Cedar I " " City spent Friday afternoon visiting Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Davis and family. '. Visitors at the. home of Hugo and Bertha Ramos this week were their son Lt. Hugo Allen aiid Bonnie Ramos and daughter from Del Rio, Texas. Hugo's mother Mrs. Alicia Ramos, Calif. Bertha's parents Mr. and Mrs. Alex Laural from Larado, Texas. Meade, Calif, attending funeral services for a friend, Mrs. Ethel Thompson. Ted and Shelly Currey traveled to Salt Lake Ctiy last week for Ted to be interviewed for a job with IBM Co. Visiting with Mrs. Mabel Williams were her daughter Leona Dalton, Parowan and Mrs. Chet Doolittle from Salt Lake Ctiy. Ronald and Deborah Blake and children Joshua and Anisa of Santa Clara visited Sunday with their parents Mr. and Mrs. Chester Williams. In the afternoon af-ternoon the Blakes drove to Beaver to see Ronald's grand- . mother, Mrs. Alevia Dean who had been in the hospital. The grandchildren stayed with their grandparents. March 29 Mrs. Deanna Groke, Janet Stapley and Ann Paxman from Cedar City came to see their good friend Rosalie Hawkins on her birthday. Also visiting Rosalie was her sister Mrs. Betty Reeves and children and Lloyd Canfield of St. George. James and Thelma Lovell received word this week of the death of James Nephew William Cates of Wheatland, Ind. Bert and Roberta Eastman spent from Wed. to Sun. in Salt Lake City and Provo. Bert was attending a two day Seminar for the Deseret Industries. Mr. and Mrs. Arian Dalley of Salt Lake City visited Friday with their Uncle and Aunt J. F. and Berta Williams. Mrs. Cheryl Rose and children Robin, David, Jennifer and Mollie Williams of Las Vegas, Nev. spent Friday through Sun. here with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Ross Williams. Mrs. Sylva Williams , Bessie and Elmer Davies had a birthday dinner March 30 for Joan and Ronald Williams of Cedar City. It was Joan's birthday. Many relatives and friends attended the wedding reception in Cedar City Sat for Mr. and Mrs. Danny Isom.
