Show New Harmony By Marva D. Prince - ' NEW HARMONY Visiting overnight with Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Pearce were an aunt, Mrs. Arthur Redd of California and her daughter and husband Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Richards of Price, also a sister of Mrs. Pearce, Mrs. Fern Klein-man Klein-man of Toquerville. Mrs. Redd is the only living aunt of Mrs. Pearce and Mrs. Kleinman on their mother's side. It was a very special day in our ward Fast Sunday Feb. 5 when two new babies were blessed. Ron Lee Kenneth Parker infant son of Kenneth and Lavanna Parker was blessed by an uncle Dahl Humphries of Las Vegas, Nev. and Benton Robert Goodwin was blessed by his grandfather, Albert Harrison of St. George. He is the infant son of Robert and Marsha Goodwin. Wrord was received by friends that Mrs. Doneva Prisbey who was operated on Friday in the LDS Hospital is doing fine and we wish her a quick recovery. A family dinner was hosted by Iva Harrison, Irene Goodwin and Marsha Goodwin at the Robert Goodwin residence Sunday afternoon for relatives attending at-tending the blessing of Benton Robert Goodwin. Those in attendance were .Mr, and . Mrs. Albert Harrison (grandparents) and son Billie. Mr. and Mrs. Ordell Walker of St. George,' Mr. and Mrs. Bob Goodwin (grandparents), Eddie, Betsy and Michelle Goodwin, Good-win, Mr. and Mrs. Terry Smith and daughter Brittany, Brit-tany, Herbert Knell and daughter, Ruth Knell all from Cedar City. Also attending at-tending the dinner was great grandpa Ashby Pace, Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Pace, Mr. and Mrs. Darce Prince and Brent all from New Harmony. Har-mony. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Parker and family had as guests Sunday and to attend the blessing of Ron Lee Kenneth Parker, Mr. and Mrs. Afton Humphries (grandparets), and Mr. Jim Humphries, Mr. and Mrs. Randy Humphries all of Hurricane, Mr. and Mrs. Dahl Humphries, Mr. and Mrs. David Gronaman from Las Vegas, Nev., and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Starr, Cedar City, and 12 nieces and nephews of the Parkers. Mrs. Olive Schmutz has returned home from Califronia where she visited for three weeks with a son and family and in Salt Lake City with relatives. She was accompanied home by a friend and sister-in-law, Mrs. Susie Taylor who will spend some time here with Olive. |
