Pink Ladies raise Funds medication and reduces the amount of time and effort required by nurses to monitor the "intervenious flow," Susan Taysom, Alf infusion pump, a device for monitoring intervenious in-tervenious flow for critical patient care, was presented to Valley View Medical Center this past week by the Pink Ladies Auxiliary organization. Funds for the newly acquired equipment was presented by the Pink Ladies to the Valley View Medical Foundation, who in turn purchased the equipment equip-ment for use at VVMC. , "On haad for the presentation presen-tation was Bea Knudsen, a member of the Foundation Board of Directors, and a past president of the Pink Ladies; Mrs. Mary Findlay, president of the Pink Ladies and Reginald Hughes, WMC adminstrator. The equipment "increased the accuracy of the delivery of critical prescription out. Ms. Taysom indicated that the unit would be used where critical control is needed. She suggested that it would be utilized for such patients as small infants, premature babies, corinary patients and 'other patients where high potency medication requiring delicate control capabilities are necessary." "The Pink Ladies, in addition to providing a tremendous service to the hospital through personal contribution are certainly to be commended for their additional help in the acquisition of much needed equipment," Hughes said. |
