Show Career diplomat visits with parents Blaine C. Tuellcr, a Foreign Service Oificer, and former Cedar City resident, and his family are visiting in Logan ths month with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lamont E. Tuel-ler, Tuel-ler, also former residents of Cedar City. Mr. Tueller returned early in July from duty with the American Consulate General at Tangier, Morocco, and after his lea;e at home ho will be assigned to Caracas, Venezuela. Venez-uela. Mr. Tueller attended Cedar High School and College of Southern Utah and graduated from Utah State University in 1937. After serving with the UniUU States Army from 1933 to 1935 he entered the American Ameri-can Foreign Service in 1937. Prior to serving at Tangier, he had held previous diplomatic and consular assignments at Dublin, Ireland; Vienna, Austria, Aust-ria, and the Department of State, Washington, D. C. His wife is the former Jean Marie Heywood, daughter of Leland D. Heywood of Cedar City and the late Mrs. Heywood. Hey-wood. Mrs. Tueller also attended attend-ed Cedar High School and College Col-lege of Southern Utah and graduated from Utah State University in 1952. Mr. and Mrs. Tueller have nine children: Jan, age H; Anna, 13; Matthew H., 11; Marie, 10; Diane, 8; Martha, 5; Elizabeth 4; James B., 2, and Rachel, 3 months. |
