Show Valley View Stake leaders will attend conference Some 350 young men aiif " women and leaders from Valley Val-ley View Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day-Saints in Salt Lake City wiil arrive in Cedar Thursday, July 31, for a three-day conference con-ference to be based at South- em Utah State College. The group has reservations for the Utah Shakespearean Festival Thursday evening where they will view the fifth 19(i9 Festival performance of "Love's Labour's Lost." Prior to seeing the play they will receive an orientation discussion discus-sion from Fred C Adams, pro-ducng pro-ducng director. Friday, August 1, the group wil attend conference workshop work-shop sessions in the SUSC Music Center. In the afternoon , v they will travel to the college ranch in Cedar Canyon for a cook-out and outdoor sports.. That evening they will return to Cedar City for a "western stomp" on the city park. Cedar City youth will be invited to join in this activity. Saturday, August 2, the vis-itors vis-itors wil attend a sunrise service ser-vice at Cedar Breaks National Monument. Following breakfast break-fast they will leave Cedar City to return to Salt Lake City by way of Bryce Canyon National Park. Conference chairman is Craig Barlow, Salt Lake City. Local arrangements are under the direction of J. Lynn Uihel, coordinator of Public Services at SUSC. and Dale Jensen, assistant as-sistant in the Department of ! Public Services. |
