Show Colt League leaps into second session Cedar Crest 2 0 Lock hart 1 1 Ron's 1 1 Pa rowan 0 2 Cedar Crest started the second sec-ond half of play right, with two victories during this week's Colt League action. Their first win was a forfeit by Lockhart, when Lockhart couldn't find enough men. Cedar Crest's second victory of the week came against Ron's Sporting Goods. The Cedar Ce-dar Crest crew pounded out 9 hits and scored 12 runs while big Wayne Esplin held Ron's mound with Mike Leavitt com-Ing com-Ing jn for relief. Scott Potter threw the entire game for Parowan and was also Paro-wan's Paro-wan's big hitter, collecting 3 hits, coming to bat five times. Big hitters for Lockhart were Steve Rollo, hitting 3 for 4, in-eluding in-eluding two doubles, and Paul Wyaskett, also 3 for 4. Ron's picked up their first victory of the second half and handed Parowan their second defeat by a score of 12 to 5. Jeff Carr and Lane Spevak shared mound duty for the victors and Phil Burt threw all seven innings for Parowan. Steve Anderson colected 3 hits, coming to bat 4 times and Louis Chamberlain belted a triple and a double to aid in Ron's victory. Next week's action sees Cedar Ce-dar Crest facing Parowan, Lockhart vs. Ron's, and Lockhart Lock-hart facing Cedar Crest. There will be no game on the 21th. to one hit and one run. Lane Spevak and Louis Chamberlain Chamber-lain shared mound duty for the losers. Big bat for Cedar Crest in the contest was Paul Cahoon, who hit 3 times, including in-cluding two doubles, coming to the plate 4 times.
