History of Iron told at Reading Club meet The Cedar City Reading Club met January 8 at the home of Florence Berry. Ten members were present to hear Vilate Kenney give a very interesting history, of Iran, the small country which was conquered by the Medes and Persians 1200 years B. C. She told the members that the Iranians still follow the old Moslian custom and many men have more than one wife. Beautiful Persian rugs are on the floors of the wealthy class and chess Is a game that has been played there for hundreds of years. Delicious refreshments were served by the hostess.
