Show Young Artists Music Festival set Jan. 26 will be held. Parowan Third: Piano solos, Karrie Stubbs, Mona Lee Mitchell, Dinah Stubbs, Karl and Kenneth Bentley, Christi Burton, Ann Decker, Wendy Stolk, Leslie Decker, Jackie Jones and Leslie Mitchell; . Trumpet duet, Jim Prince and Rex Burton; saxophone solo, John Talcott; Organ solo, t Lawrence Burton; vocal solos, so-los, Verl Taylor, Mary Jayne Halterman, Laurie Taylor; vocal vo-cal duet, Larry Orton and Marilyn Orton; flute ensem- .' ble, Alisan and Vickie Chamberlain, Cham-berlain, Kym Oglesby and Peter Pe-ter Curley on a guitar. A new addition will be apiano solo by Kristen Bentley. On Tuesday evening, Jan 26. the MIA organizations of all three Parowan Wards will i stage their "Young Artists Music Mu-sic Festivals", those in charge announce. Like programs are being held in all of the oth-wards oth-wards in Parowan stake and the following Tuesday night, outstanding numbers from each ward will be presented present-ed in a stake festival. Music to be featured is to be classical and semi-classical, and participants are to dress for the occasion. The local wards have announced an-nounced the perticipants for the Tuesday evening program, to which the public is invited, invit-ed, as follows: First Ward, Ruth Ann Bentley, Bent-ley, piano solo; girls vocal trio, Linda Hyatt, Wendy Robinson, Ro-binson, Debbie Maizee; vocal solo, pres Knight; men's quartet, quar-tet, Austin LeFevre, Scott Potter, David Hyatt, Steve Adams; piano solo, Kathy Hanks; vocal duet, Chrys and David Hyatt. Second Ward, vocal solos, Laurel Matheson, Susan Tul-lis, Tul-lis, Sharon Rowley, Sandra Robb; Organ solo, Ernest Ahlborn; piano solos, Linda Hyatt, Laurene Dalley, Pau-letter Pau-letter Halterman, Rich Dal-ton; Dal-ton; guitar solo, Pamela Wor-then Wor-then The above wards are holding hold-ing forth together and their program will be followed by an art exhibit of ward artists to be held in the cultural hall and then refreshments |
