Show Local music groups to present program "The King and I", Rodgers and Hammerstein's "Something "Some-thing Wonderful" musical comic drama, will be present ed In the Cedar High School auditorium, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, March 20, 21 and 22. The play is being presented by an Independent theatrical company, composed of people from the area who have banded band-ed together for the purpose of producing this fine musical play. What started out to be a Cedra Fourth Ward project has grown until it now Includes people from the Cedar, Cedar West and College Stakes. Under Un-der the direction of Norman Lister, a loeal student attending attend-ing College of Souhtem Utah, the company has been in rehearsal re-hearsal for the past seven weeks. The production now promises to be an outstanding venture. The company has personally financed the production. pro-duction. Curtain time will be at 8:15 p. m. each night. No admls-j sior will be charged, however,) donations will be accepted and a donation of $1.25 for adults and 75c is suggested. Donations will be used to defray de-fray part of the expenseg of the production. Any profits will be donated to the Cedar Stake to be used toward the new Stake Center under construction. |
