Show W. T. "Bill" Smith Succumbs William T. (Dill) Smith, CO, of Cedar City died suddenly or a Ivan attacn. Services for t!u Cedar City businessman will lie held Friday, Fri-day, March 7 at 2 p. in. in tho Cedar First Ward chapel. Friends may call at the Southern South-ern I'lah Moruraiy Thursday (u.Miing from 7 lo !) p. rn. and Friday from 12 noon until time of services. Smith was horn in Cleveland, Cleve-land, Idaho on December IS, lili3 a son of George Albert and Hannah M. Nielsen Smiih. He married Kuby Christensen, Oct. 11, 1929 at i'o.-atello, Ida. Ho has owned and operated Smith Welding and Steel Co. of Cedar City and has been active in a number of community com-munity organizations, lie was an Elder in' the WA Church and worked in both tho Sunday Sun-day School and MIA organizations organiza-tions at Cleveland, lie has been a member of the Cedar City Rotary Club, was active in politics' serving for a period per-iod as chairman of the lion County Republican Committee. He was a supporter of Lilllo Little Baseball and for a number num-ber of years was building inspector in-spector at the College of Southern Sout-hern Utah. He Is survived by his widow, wi-dow, Cedar City, and the following fol-lowing brothers and sisters: Mrs. Jack (Manda) Pace, Mrs. Louis (Ruby) Webster, all of Cedar City; Joseph N. Smith, Las Vegas, Nov.; G. E. Smith, and Mrs. James (Dora) Eet-eridge, Eet-eridge, Treston, Ida.; and Mrs. Hyrum (Maggie) Christensen, Wendell, Ida. Burial will bo in the Cedar City cemetery. |
