Show Lady Lions urge participation in July Fourth parade "F a m i lies, Neighborhoods, Youth Groups" it is time to start planning your float for the Fourth of July parade. According to Mrs. John S. Rowley, the Lady Lions want to encourage as much participation partici-pation from community members mem-bers as possible in making the Fourth of July parade "yours" this year. In order to do this the Lady Lions are renting float bases for a minimal fee to anyone who wants to participate in the parade. Some of the bases will fit. on wagons and will be rented for $2.00. Other bases which already have wheels on them will be rented for $1.00. In both instances Sl.lX) of the rental fee will be reimbursed upon the return of the base in as good condition as it was obtained. One of these bases may be obtained by calling Mrs. Bruce Osborn at 586-G901. The theme for the parade is "This is My Country". There will be several categories and I & lot ol prizes. |
