Show Training set for 20 Utah workers Training in a variety of skills for 20 jobless or underemployed under-employed workers throughout Utah will be provided through a Manpower Development and Training Act project announced announc-ed today in Washington. The trainees will be selected on the basis of aptitudes and abilities, the announcement from the Departments of Labor and Health, Education and Welfare said. They will put up $67,550 to cover the cost of instruction in-struction and allowances to the trainees. The Utah State Employment Service will test, counsel and refer trainees, administer their allowances, and help in job placement efforts after they have completed training. |
