Show Chamberlain to assume post at SUSC Scott Chamberlain has assumed as-sumed the positions of repair and alterations superintend-ent superintend-ent and supervisor of the heat plant at Southern Utah State College, it was announced by Merrill Kunz, controller of the physical plant. Replacing Mr. Chamberlain in his former position as supervisor su-pervisor of the Physical Educational Edu-cational Building, Fieldhouse, and Trades and Industries Building is Rulon Jolley. Mr. Chamberlain began employment em-ployment at the college in 1964. He is a native of Cedar City and received two-year certification in trades , from College of Southern Utah (now SUSC). He also attended Utah State University. While in college col-lege he was a member of the Trades and Industries Club and Intercollegiate Knights. Before joining the SUSC staff he was active in home building trades. He had also completed six years with the Utah National Guard. Mr. Chamberlain is currently current-ly serving as bishop of the ueoar lenrn wara, a posmon he has held for the past three and one-half years. He was formerly in the Sunday School Superintency and has served as cubmaster in the Cub Scout program. He is married to the former Kareen Porter of Cedar City and they are the parents of Jennifer, 9, and Jonathan, 1. Also living with the Chamberlains Chamber-lains through the Indian Placement Program is Evira Thompson, 14. Mr. Jolley was born in Tropic, Garfield County. He has worked as a crew leader at Bryce and Grand Canyon National Parks, and has operated oper-ated barber shops in Salt Lake City, St. George, and Cedar City. He has served as superind-ent superind-ent of the YMMIA and filled a two-year tour of duty for the U. S. Army in Europe. Mr. Jolley is married to the former Marilla Hall of Esca-lante. |
