Show CEDAR CITY SOCIAL SWING IRON RANGERS RIDING CLUB Families of Iron Hangers Ruling Rul-ing Club spent Sunday afternoon together at the Wood's Uaneh Recreation Area. Riding Club members and some of the wives had taken a trail ride over Cellar Ce-llar Mountain to the Clark ranch and returned in time to join the others for a chicken dinner with drinks and watermelon furnished by the organization . Baseball games and other outdoor recreation recre-ation climaxed the party. Other out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Von Thomas, Smithfield; Mr. and Mrs. Homer Jones and Sara Macfarlane, Macfar-lane, Las Vegas; Mr. and Mrs. Piiilo Boyter, Dr. and Mrs. W. O. Bishop and Mrs. II. K. Boyter, Beaver, and Mrs. Roger Jensen of Sandy. The Beehive and Scout chuck wagon breakfast for youths of the Cedar Stake was held Monday, Mon-day, July 11 at G p. m. in the Cedar City park. Mr. and Mrs. Alan Leigh stopped stop-ped in Cedar City enroute to their homo in Arizona to visit with Alan's mother, Mrs. May Leigh. The couple arrived here from Salt Lake City where they had been reunited after Alan returned return-ed from Japan following a two month assignment. Enjoying a summer vacation in Idaiio was Mrs. Anna Belle Heyborne, who accompanied her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Outland to Ketehum and Obsidian. When the Outlands returned to their home in Mesa, Ariz., they took their more, ieky Cession with them to vacation and left their daughter Lisa here to spend several sev-eral weeks with Mrs. Heyborne. A two week's vacation beckoned beckon-ed Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Jones to the northwestern United States and into Canada where they toured several Canadian parks and monuments, including the Banff National Park and Lake Louise and Glacier National Park. After sight-seeing along the way in Idaho, Montana and at their destination in British Columbia, Co-lumbia, the Cedar City couple returned home by way of Washington, Wash-ington, Oregon and California. In Redding, Calif., they stopped for two days to visit with Mr. Jones brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Elbert White. They completed their vacation sightseeing sight-seeing through Reno and Ely, Nevada. In Cedar City for an overnight visit at the Arthur Brown residence resi-dence were Dr. Raymond Brown and Dr. Val Clark of California. The two guests had flown here Saturday night and returned Sunday. |
