Show KANARRAVKLLE LEWS Mis. Ca:ma Williams Our town was saddened Monday Mon-day by the death of Loren A. ilobinson. He died at the Valley View Medical Center of causes incident to age. Mrs. Robinson is still in the hospital suffering from a heart attack. Mrs. Ilettie Pollock enjoyed visits vis-its from her sister, Mrs. Ferrl Zohner, her daughter and granddaughter, grand-daughter, Roma and Sharla Wood and Mr. and Mrs. Keith Hayes and family, all of Las Vegas. Mrs. Lois Williams and girl.1 and Robin Scott returned to Las Vegas Sunday after spending a week with Mr. and Mrs. Ross Williams. Mrs. Venice Prince of New Harmony Har-mony and Clayton Williams of FJenderson, Nev., visited Monday with Mrs. Jennie Williams. Gene Toland tav-fled t" n-"1---over the weekend to get his wife ind children as they returned from Afton, Wyoming where they visited M.rs. Toland's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Avil Merrill of Payson returned homo this week after spending the week here. While there they acquired ac-quired a family, a daughter, five, i twin girls, four, and a son, 15- months old. The Christensen's returned re-turned home Monday, a big hap-, py family. Mr. and Mrs. Don Cowley and family of Brigham City, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Roberts and family of Venice, Utah, visited a few days, with relatives and spent some lime at. the Davies brothers ranch jn Kanarra Mountain. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Pollock and amwy of Winnr-mucca, Nev., and Mr. and Mrs. Clair Woodbury of La-, Vegas have been visiting the past week with Mis. Arvilla vVoodbury. ! Mrs. Phoebe Davies, Sylvia Williams Wil-liams and Elmer and Bessie Davies Da-vies spent Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Williams and son Brad of Cedar City. The occasion was a birthday dinner in honor of Sylvia Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Williams and son Michael spent Saturday j in Colorado. Miss Sherry Lovell and Martin ' Summerlull traveled to Las Vegas last week to take Cheryl Scott and Hanna Davis back to : their work. j enis, rvir. anu ivn. bchu i.v... and sisters, Valarie Neilson and Lola Johnson. Miss Christine Cornelius is in Salt Lake City visiting her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ne-phi Ne-phi Workman. Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Reeves and family are spending their vacation at Kolob Reservoir and Bryce Canyon. Saturday 29 of our young people peo-ple enjoyed a chicken supper on Kanarra Mountain. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Davis and family of Sandy, Utah, visited visit-ed over the week end with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Davis. Mrs. Gloria Anderson spent a week visiting Mr. and Mrs. Glade Berry and family. Maurie Munford and Scott Cornelius Cor-nelius took some Boy Scouts on a three-day camping trip to Yankee Yan-kee Meadows. Scouts enjoying the trip were Jeffrey Williams, Jimmie Davis, Marlon, Bruce and Tony Cornelius and Meredith and Clyde Munford. Mrs. Maryline Lindsey and children of Lanham, Maryland, spent a few week with her brother-in-law and sister, Austin and Nedra Ence and family. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Davis spent their honeymoon at Jackson Jack-son Hole, Wyoming. Mrs. Ethna Wiliiams received word that a granddaughter wr,s born July 9 at a Stilwater, Okla., hospital to her son and daughter-in-law, David and Carolyn Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Jackson and family of Las Vegas spent Sunday visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Williams. The Williams got to see a new granddaughter for the first time. The baby was born in June. Also visiting the Williams family is Art Secrest of Long Beach, California. Cal-ifornia. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Knudson and son Chris returned home this week from a three weeks vacation vaca-tion to California. Sherald Peterson and Leonard Baldwin returned to Boulder City after spending a few weeks here. The children of Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Reeves of St. George and Julie Reeves, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Devon Reeves of Cedar City spent several days with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Reeves.
