City Officials Thank Lions Membership For Public Service ! The Ceilar City Lions Club Hi!: I week received two letters from the Cedar City administration expressing ex-pressing appreciation for community com-munity service rendered by the club members. Each express the leeling of the general public as a result of the activities of the Lions. ! The letters were as follows: ' The Cedar City Council and myself want to express our thanks and compliment the Lions Club for the excellent job they did on the July 1th, l!)l!C, celebration. celebra-tion. The diversified program, the excellent manner in which the program was carried out and the cleanup job on the Park before evening, was beyond reproach. A mere thank you seems small for such a program as you gave the residents of Cedar City this 4th of July, but I can assure you it is most sincere. Sincerely yours, L. A. The system will help to upgrade our program, as well as making the game more interesting interest-ing for spectators and players. The Lions Club Ball Park is a tribute tri-bute to your club. We would like to report to you that the Lioas Club Pavilion on the city park is receiving a great deal of use by tourists and townspeople. Thank you for your continued support of our program.
