Show Civil Service Opens Exams for Cedar C.ly Postmaster An examination for Postmaster a; Cedar City. Utah, $7,190 a year, will be open for acceptance of applications until June 22, the U. S. Civil Service Commission Commis-sion announced today. Competitors for the postmaster j vacancy must have a least 3 years of experience (education above high school level may be substituted for la years of experience! ex-perience! showing that they have the ability to conduct and man- age the community's postal business bus-iness efficently and to supervise employees so that customers are i satisfied wi'h the service. Competitors must also show tiiat they are of good reputation and ttiat they can deal with the public agreeably and effectively. Applicants must take a written writ-ten test. Those who pass will be assigned final ratings on the basis ba-sis of this test and on their experience ex-perience and fitness for the position. po-sition. They must have resided within the delivery of the office for one year immediately proceeding pro-ceeding the closing date of the examination. In addition, they must have reached their 18th birthday on the closing date for acceptance of applications. Persons Per-sons over 70 years of age can not be accepted. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment em-ployment without regard to race, creed, color or national origin. Civil Service Commission, Washington D. C. 20115, and must be received receiv-ed or postmarked not later than the closing date. |
