Show College ROTC Cadets To Receive Flight Experience Practical orientation flights to acquaint the cadet with flying and to make him aware of forces and problems affecting an airplane air-plane have been integrated into the Air Force ROTC program at College of Southern Utah. Major Ralph Kelley, assistant professor of air science, announced an-nounced that the flights will begin be-gin Monday, Jan. 16. The 1-19 National Guard plane will be used for orientation purposes' and will be piloted by Capt Ralph Homer. Field orientation projects have been used in collaboration with classroom study at C S U. Cadets have been the guests at an air show at Nellis Air Force Base testing grounds' and at Project Smart. |
