Show Literary Club Hears Musical Program A musical program highlighted highlight-ed the evenir g as the Parowan Literary Club met for its regular meeting on Wednesday, Jan 16. Presenting musical numbers were several groups of local people. peo-ple. A ladles' trio composed of Mrs. Joe Stubbs, Mrs. Howard Stubbs and Mrs. Lyle Evans sang four lovely numbers. Their accompanist ac-companist was Mrs. Ward Mor-tensen. Mor-tensen. Mrs. Boyd Robinson accompanied accompan-ied by her sister, Mrs. Clark Lam-oreaux, Lam-oreaux, played two saxophone solos. A male quartet composed of Bob Rowley, Verl Taylor, Karl and Harold Mitchell presented a variety of songs. They were all accompanied by Mrs. Mortensen. Mrs. Joe Stubbs played two piano selections. Mrs. Karl Mitchell and Mrs. J. Lowe Barton were in charge of the program, which was very much enjoyed by all members' present. Mrs. Mitchell and Mrs.1 Mario Topham were co-hostesses i for the evening with the event being held at the Mitchell home. During the evening Mrs. Thales Brown, club president, expressed appreciation to townspeople and club members who contributed to, the clothing drive for the State' Hospital. Mrs. Charles F. Bentley and and Mrs. Rulan Dalton reminded members that their partners are invited to the next meeting. It will be held on Feb. 6 at the Sunset room of the Bel Aire Cafe.
