Show Hi School Thespians To Present Popular Play Apr. 27 David Humphery will be playing play-ing the role of Joe Keller, the manufacturer who sends 21 pilots pi-lots to their death by knowingly shipping defective engine parts to the Army, In the Cedar High School's presentation of "All My Sons," to be staged at the Public Pub-lic School auditorium April 27. This hit dramma by Arthur Miller, which gripped Broadway audiences for nearly a year and won the N. Y. Critics' Circle Award as the best play of its season, Is the story of a group of people beset by guilts and divided di-vided loyalties as the result of the manufacturer's wartime swindle. In addition to David as the guilt -stricken father, others in the high school production will include Stuart Vorklnk as Joe Keller's Mealistlc son Chris, who falls In love with the fiance of his pilot brother Larry, reported missing In action three years before. Barbara Batt will be seen as the fiance, Ann Deever, who learns that her father had been sent to Jail for the crime committed com-mitted by Chris's father. Sandra Cox will be seen as Joe Keller's loyal wife, Kate, and other roles have been assigned to Chad Hal-vcrsen, Hal-vcrsen, Roger Lewis, Michael Hansen, Joyce Hall, Jackie Bar-rick Bar-rick and Joe Sandberg. |
