Vets And Widows Filed on Tab Cards Approximately 3,000 disabled "etc ai.rl widows of veterans In 'tah who receive monthly pension payments are being reminded re-minded by the Veterans Administration Admin-istration to report their annual income promptly and thus avoid the risk of having their payments pay-ments stopped. William W. McRride, manager mana-ger of the VA regional office at Salt Lake City, said that VA Is now mailing: to all pension recipients recip-ients a tabulating card upon which the Income report may be made. Pensions cease if the Income In-come of a single Individual exceeds ex-ceeds $1100 or $2700 if the recipient re-cipient has dependents. Regulations Regula-tions reouire payment to be stopped stop-ped If the income report Is not received withlng 30 days. He warned that the tabulating card will be processed mechanically mechani-cally when It is returned and that cutting, folding or otherwise other-wise mutilating it will delay the recording of the Information and risk a cut off in payments. No Income questionnaire Is sent to veterans or dependents receiving service-connected compensation. |
