Show NEWS NOTES OF SUMMIT ACTIVITIES Mrs. Hulda Peterson Mr. and Mrs. Ilyrum Humphreys, Hum-phreys, their three sons, Kenneth, Kent and Mark, and three daughters. daugh-ters. Patr'.Ja, Gale and Laurie have gone to San Diego, Calif., to spend the Christmas holidays I with Mrs. Humphrey's mother I Mrs. Beulah Browning and with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. John W. Hilliard In Springvalley. Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Fife, daughter daugh-ter Karen and son Gillman spent the week end in Springville with Mrs. Fife's parents, Mr. and Mrs. .rn Gillman. The Relief Society members and their husbands enjoyed a pot luck dinner Saturday night, after which games were played and gifts were exchanged. Miss Gale Hympherys has returned re-turned home from the Iron County Coun-ty Hospital where she received minor surgery. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Green received re-ceived word of the serious Illness Ill-ness of Ralph's twin brother. They left Friday for California to be with him. The Ami Fidel club met at the home of Mrs. Nieta Jones Friday night with an attendance of 15 members. They spent the evening even-ing singing Christmas carols and listening to a delightful Christ-1 mas story told by Mrs. Ardella Ford. Refreshments were served. The Junior Sunday School gave a Christmas program for their parents. The Senior Sunday school members presented programs pro-grams In their separate classes. John Farrow is home from St. George for Holiday season. Tuesday night the MIA presented pre-sented a special program of read, ings and Christmas carols, after reation hall for a social. Mrs. Hulda Peterson and her daughter, Georgia Matheson, entertained en-tertained at a birthday dinner Sunday for another daughter, Mrs. Ardice Williamson of Las Vegas. The Williamson family was present for the occasion. Jeanette Williamson stayed with her grandmother Friday night on her return from Provo where he has been attending Brlg- i ham Vminn ITnl.,y.l.. -.!... ....J. ... Williamson accompanied the Las Vegas family on their return to spend the winter months. I On Wednesday evening the an-nual an-nual Christmas program will ' be held in the ward chapel with the Primary officers giving the program after which Santa Claus will visit the group. Everyone is Invited to attend. Rodney Benson was taken to the Iron County Hospital suffering suffer-ing from complications following an attack of flu. Summit people have decided as a community to make personal visits to friends Instead of mailing mail-ing Christmas cards. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Berry of Cedar Ce-dar City visited with the Farrow Far-row and Walker families here Sunday night |
