Show Education Committee Announces Schedule Completion The Adult Education Advisory Committee for Parowan, headed by Mrs. Miriam P, Lister, announces an-nounces the successful' conclusion conclu-sion of the fall series of classes under this program which has been carried out at the local schools. Classes which were finished last week were wood re-finish- ' ing, taught by D. G. Van Ausdal; upholstery, taught by Bertrude Mitchell; ceramics, taught by A. Hatch; oil painting, taught by Glenn Anderson of the Cedar City Ci-ty High faculty; women's physical physi-cal education, taught by F. C. Van Buren. Another class, family sewing, taught by Karline Pax-man, Pax-man, had one more class period to go to finish, and this will be held this week, we unlerstand J A new series of classes will begin soon after the holidays with registration date to be announced an-nounced after school resumes In January. The classes which were held successfufty during the past quarter will be offered again and perhaps two more will be offered of-fered and will be in the program if the response is good enough. The Adult Education Advisory Committee for Firowan is to begin be-gin work shortly after the first of the year, in cooperation with the Iron County Extension Office, in encouraging adult leadership, I Mrs. Lister states. It is hoped that a community committee can be set ur and be functioning In I vperatlon with Parowan City, early In the year. |
