Show County Exceeds Quota In Savings Bond Sales Furchases of United States savings sav-ings bonds in Iron County continued con-tinued to mount up during the month of November, according to Francis W. Bcterscn, county bond chairman. Iron County passed the 193,8 quota early in the fall and now has reached 112.7 per cent of the goal established for the year. November sales in Iron County Coun-ty amounted to $3,873 for a total of $101,306 for the 11-month period. per-iod. State of Utah, as a whole, had attained 00 per cent of the 1953 goal at the close of November Novem-ber with all likelihood of receiving receiv-ing what the state organization had anticipated for he year. Total purchases of bonds in the state for the month of November No-vember amounted to $1,472,640 for a total of $17,742,426 for the 11-month period. State sales figure indicated that four additional counties Beaver, Davis, Utah and Carbon exceeded 100 per cent of their 1958 quotas during November bringing to 11 the number of counties achieving this goal, Including In-cluding Iron and Washington In southern Utah.
