Show Literary Club Holds Gift Party, Plans Dinner Evening The annual Christmas season dinner and party of the Paro-wan Paro-wan Literary CLib, at which the club members will entertain their husbands, has been set for Monday evening, Dec. 29. The af-I af-I fair will be held at the home of I Mr. and Mrs. J. Harold Mitchell and will feature a turkey dinner followed by bingo with traveling prizes. Heading the committee In charge of the event Is Mrs. Ber-trude Ber-trude Mitchell and she will be assisted by Mrs. Merle B. Merk-'ley, Merk-'ley, Mrs. Edna Brown, Mrs. Far 'Benson, Mrs. Alice Barton, Mrs. Phoebe Taylor, Mrs. Golda Guy mon and Mrs. Anna Lyman. The club held a very unusual Christmas gift box party on Dec. 17 at the home of Mrs. Verda E. Adams. It featured an old fashioned fash-ioned Christmas with no electricity electri-city being used during the entire evening. Lighting was furnished by candles and a coal oil lamp. The evening was spent listening to Christmas stories and singing Christmas carols. |
