Show Escalante Valley An outstanding Christmas program pro-gram was presented Friday by the Campfire Girls with a large crowd in attendance to enjoy a delightful program. The girls presented vocal solos, duets and ensemble numbers, readings and pantomimes well spiced with humor hu-mor and served cookies and punch. Those In attendance also enjoyed two exhibits of dolls. One group was the "famous ladies" lad-ies" dolls of Mrs. Wilford Fife, which are gowned in exquisite hand-crocheted creations which won numerous awards for Mrs. Fife In Utah and Nevada, and some of which were selected for exhibition In New York City. The other group of dolls was exhibited exhi-bited by Mrs. George Jolley, who makes them to sell. They were dressel in lovely chenile gowns and parasols. A "dream doll" and wardrobe was given away by the Campfire Girls with Gail Seeg-miller Seeg-miller of Cedar City as recipient. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Robinson ind family have been called to Long Reach, Calif, because of the serious illness of Mrs. Robinson's father. |
