Returning to climax the evening with a refreshing dessert des-sert served by Mrs. Schoppmann were Mr. and Mrs. George Schoppmann, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Smith, Mr. and Mrs. LeVar Wade, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Clark, Mr. and Mrs. Pace Webster, and Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Clark. Pinochle was played at the home of Mrs. Chester Barrlck on Friday evening as she entertained entertain-ed members of her club. During the evening club members welcomed wel-comed Mrs. Ward Robb into their group as a new members. Lunch eon was served by the hostess and prizes presented to high scorers for the evening, Mrs. Robb and Mrs. J. V. Adams. Spending the week end In Cedar Ce-dar City were Mr. and Mm Donovan Dono-van Kearns and their little daughter LuDon. They were the guest of Mrs. Kearns parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Bentley and also visited with the Virgil Birds. A no-hostess party was enjoyed enjoy-ed by the members of the Amity Club Wednesday evening. The ladies gathered at Milt's Stage Stop where they enjoyed a steak dinner and a social evening together. to-gether. Salt Lake City was the destination destin-ation of Mr. and Mrs. George Manning last week. Their daughter daugh-ter Janet accompanied thm as they attended the wrestling contests con-tests In which their son, George participated. Traveling to Salt Lake City to attend a conference for dormitory personnel were Mr. and Mrs. Mc Ray Cloward. While in the capital capi-tal city they also attended the wedding and reception for Mr. Cloward's uncle and visited with members of their families. Taking a brief vacation from studies at the beauty school they attend in Ogden were Miss Mar-lene Mar-lene Benson and a friend, Miss Dorene Stein pson. They spent 'the week end at the home of Miss Benson's parents, Mr. and 'Mrs. Austin Benson. Also welcoming wel-coming the visit were the young lady's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Ence. Mrs. G. D. MacDonald entertained enter-tained club members on Monday Mon-day evening at bridge. Special guests for the evening were Mrs. Virll Bird and Mrs. Joe Bennett. High score prizes were won by Mrs. Reed Leigh, Mrs. Corry Ol-sen, Ol-sen, and Mrs. Grant Seaman. Light refreshments were served by the hostess. Mr. and Mrs. John V Schoppmann Schopp-mann and Mrs. E. W. Stanworth welcomed as week end visitors, Mr. and Mrs. Delwln Stanworth and children Marilyn and Tonya of Las Vegas, Nev. Mrs. Stanworth Stan-worth Is the former Norene Schoppman. An outstanding evening was held by the ladles of the H. and H. Club as the patriotic month of February came to a close. Also helping to make the evening very special were dancers from the Manya Martell studios who presented a variety of numbers. Their beautiful costumes cos-tumes were a delight to the eye. Serving as chairman for the evening was Mrs. Oren Taylor with Mrs. Bert Smith acting as program chairman. |
