Each chapter is complete with numerous foot- notes of explanation. There also i are nearly 100 pages of the book 'devoted to appendixes (excerpts 1 from histories and autobiograph-i autobiograph-i ies, listing of personnel of the expedition, etc.). Several graphic photographs about two-thirds of which are new, taken by Dr. Miller add value to the volume. |
