Show ICANARRAVILLE NEWS I By Hannah Doris We are enjoying beautiful pring-llke weather the last few days. March Came in like a lamb. Visitors over the week end at the home of "Aunt" Mollle Williams Wil-liams were her sons, Ellis Williams Wil-liams and family of Henderson, Nev. and Roscoe Williams of An. nabella, Utah. Several of our ward members attended Stake Conference in Cedar Ce-dar City Saturday evening and Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Reginald Davis of Las Vegas were here with relatives. rel-atives. They came to bring their uncle Ceylon Davis and take him Into Salt Lake City for a check up with his doctors there. Ceylon has spent month in Vegas with relatives. They report that his condition is greatly improved. Mr. and Mrs. Alton Ford and Mr. and Mrs. Denor Pollock spent the week end at Lake Mead fishing. fish-ing. Mr. and Mrs. Preston Williams were business visitors in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hastings of Las Vegas sp- 'it a few days here with their daughter, the Kenneth Williams family. Twenty-six of our boys and girls went to the St. George Temple Tem-ple on Saturday for baptismal services. They were accompanied by Bishop J. F. Williams, Opal Williams, George Munford and Jim Cornelius. They performed 53 baptisms. Sunday visitors at the Jess Williams homo were Mr. and Mrs. Harland Walker and daughter daugh-ter of Cedar City. Mrs. Lorraine Pollock and children chil-dren of Las Vegas are here visiting vis-iting with her mother, Arvilla Woodbury. Mrs. Bernelce Williams and children, Keith, Kenny and Vickie, Vick-ie, Bud Williams and Linda Pol-loch Pol-loch and Mr. and Mrs. Done Robinson Rob-inson were Sunday visitors to Glen Canyon. Mrs. Alva Batty and son John attended a birthday at New Har-mony Har-mony last week for Bennle Batty. Mrs. La Dene Walker and her I daughter Rosalie of Cedar City were accompanied to Hurricane ; last week by her oarents, Mr. and Mrs. Jess Williams and Mary M. Williams to visit their brother Sam L. Pollock. They report his condition to be somewhat better. I Carma Williams and son Jef-fery Jef-fery and Hannah Davis spent Monday in Summit with ther daughter and sister, Mrs. Elda . Fife. Mr. and Mrs. Loren Robinson iand Luella Hawkins and daughter daugh-ter Rosalie, were visitors in Paro-gonah Paro-gonah with their son-in-law and daughter. Mr. and Mrs. Homer Boardman. Mr. and Mrs. Junius Williams are visiting in Eilt L.ke City with home of their children, Mr. and Mrs. LaVere Carter and Dwight Williams. Elmer, Bessie and Thebe Davis and Vr. and Mrs. Austin Ence and fai.-.ily were Sunday visitors In St George and Santa Clara. |
