Show Large Crowd Attends Annual Easter Hunt A large crowd of children gathered gath-ered on the city park last Saturday Satur-day morning to enjoy the annual Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by the Tri-H Club. The weather was very cooperative and a large number of out-of-town people were on hand with their children chil-dren to Join with local residents lor the weok end festivities. Prize eggs were found by some 120 children under the age of 12 and they cheerfully carried off a large assortment of prizes. First prize, a transister radio, went to Vicky McBride of Paragonah. A fishing pole was won by Tommy Adams, a basketball by Clinton Lowder, a bride's doll by Wendy Robinson and a ball and bat by Lawrence Burton. Smaller prizes included Easter Eas-ter rabbits, six packs of soda pop, free hamburgers and drinks and popslcles. The Tri-H Club expresses appreciation ap-preciation to the following for donating prizes and money to purchase prizes for the event. Trading Center, Parowan Merc., Fentons, Southern Utah Dairy Co., Bank of Iron County, Hiland and Meadowgold dairies, 7-Up, Coca-Cola and Dixie Bottllrg companies, Dairy Freez and the Parowan Cafe. Cash was also donated by civic groups of the city. |
