Show Emily Jeanette Dalton And Douglas Lister Say Wedding Vows In a double-ring wedding ceremony cere-mony which took place last Saturday Sat-urday evening at 6:30 Miss Emily Jeanette Dalton became the bride of Mr. Douglas Lister. The vows were spoken In the Parowan Third Ward Relief Society room writh Bishop Verl E. Taylor officiating offi-ciating in the presence of immediate im-mediate members of both families. fam-ilies. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John S. Dalton, Jr. and the bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Lister, all of Parowan. Just one hour later the newly married couple were honored at a reception held In the recreation hall of the Third Ward church. For the event the bride wore an embroidered lace over white .satin gown. Her veil had rhine-stones rhine-stones and pearls on sheer silk, and her flowers were red carnations carna-tions and buds of red holly, with Christmas streamers. Performing duties of matron of honor was Mrs. Robert Morgan, a sister, and bridesmaids were Miss Lana Topham, Miss Con nie Leveque, Miss Mina Lamor-eaux. Lamor-eaux. Miss Claudia Jones and Mrs. Charles Boardman. All wore green satin brocaded long bell skirted formals and carried red poinsetta nosegays, white satin pearl head crowns and long white gloves. The Misses Angle Dalton and Connie Lister served as flower girls. They wore red satin brocade dresses and carried car-ried gold baskets of holly and pine cones. Standing as best man for his brother was Roderick Lister and ushers were two more brothers, Kendall and Sherel Lister. Sisters of the bride. Linda and Judy Dalton Dal-ton were gift bearers. For the occasion the mother of the bride was attired in a gold satin brocade sheath dress and wore a corsage of red carnations. The mother of the bridegroom was attired in a pink and green satin print sheath and wore red carnations. The bride's going away costume cos-tume was a brown wool dress, with multi-colored shoes and bag. They traveled to Las Vegas for a two-day honeymoon trip. The bride is a member of the Junior class at the Parowan High : i MR. AND MRS. DOUGLAS LISTER I School and plans on continuing to attend that school. The bride-I bride-I groom is a graduate of the school. Refreshments were in charge of Mr. and Mis. II l Orton Mrs. Greta Wood, Parowan, anu Mrs. Claudia Foster of Reams, Utah. Serving were Miss Patsy Liver-more, Liver-more, Mrs. Julie Lister, and Cher-rle Cher-rle Smith. |
