These Scouts from the Brian Head District are to receive their Eagle Awards at a court of honor Sunday Three Scouts Meet Requirements to Receive Eagle Awards The regular Boy Scout Court of honor for the Brian Head District of the National Parks Council, will be held on Sunday evening, Dec. 22 it is announced by W. Clair Rowley, district advancement advance-ment chairman. The Court of Honor will be held in the Parowan Third Ward church, beginning at 7:45 p. m. or immediately following the annual an-nual Christmas Cantata to be presented by the Third Ward choir In the chapel at 6:30. The scouts of Troop No. 343 with Norman Day, scoutmaster, will conduct the opening and closing ceremonies. Mr. Rowley states that as this Is the last month in the fourth quarter of 19G3, it will be a special spec-ial court which will include an Eagle ceremony. Three boys from troops in the district have filled requirements for Eagle Award have made application and If everything is in order the three will receive these awards. These boys are Leslie Hulo: son of Bishop and Mrs, Rupert S Hulet; Ramon Banks, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Banks, both of Parowan Second Ward, and Jud Hendrickson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Max Hendrickson, Third Ward. The Eagle ceremony will follow fol-low the regular court at whlfh advancement and merit badge awards will be made. Mr. Rowley states that quite a number of Eagle Scouts are now included In the troops of the dls- : trict which should accelerate the program In the six troops in tne i district evening, Dec. 22. They are Leslie Hulet, and Ramon Banks, Troop 349, and Jud Hendrickson, Troop 343, Parowan. |
