I The final visit of the season,! will be made to Cedar City by Santa Claus Saturday afternoon and boys and girls from the community com-munity have been invited to come out and see "Jolly Old Saint Nick." ' Santa will arrive from his 'headquarters at the North Pole ! Saturday at 1 p. m. I He will be picked up and trans-.ported trans-.ported down Cedar City's Main Street to the Union Pacific Depot where he will be on hand for children's visits. His visit Is being sponsored by the Cedar City Junior Chamber of Commerce and they will have sacked over 3000 sacks of candy and nuts which Santa Claus will distribute to the children who visit vi-sit him at the depot Co-Chairmen of the project, one of several Christmas season activities ac-tivities by the Jaycees, are Con-rad Con-rad Clark and Dave Blackner. They indicate that all is in readiness readi-ness for the annual visit. Each child will be given an opportunity to see Santa Claus and have him personally present he or she with a sack of candy and nuts. They also point out that during dur-ing the afternoon a regular Sat-urday Sat-urday afternoon matinee will be shown at the Cedar Theater. Box office will open at 1:45 p. m. and older children of the area may attend the matinee while the youngsters visit with Old Saint Nick. |
