Two Week End Hunts Remain for Special Tag Holders Unless hunting gets better during dur-ing the next two week end hunts in the foothill area surrounding this valley, quite a number of the special permit holders for the post-season hunts will have to go without their venison this time according to the results of the last two week end hunts. S. M. Clark, local game warden in charge of the hunts, reports that in the last two week ends 62 deer were checked in at the checking station at the Whitney Texaco Service Station here. Of this number 28 were killed the first week end and 31 the last week end. This loaves 88 permit holders who have yet to bag their deer during the next two week ends.
