Show lerry Frame Wins fill-State B Team Honors iiimwpuwiib.ihm.wih iiininmiimi.um'.iu n n i n v ' 1 I : A Jerry Frame, who played excellently ex-cellently on both offense and defense de-fense at center for the Cedar City high school football team during dur-ing the season, was named to (he all-state B football team at the close of the season this week. Jerry, who is a junior at the Cedar Ce-dar City school, played a very important role in bringing the Region Six championship to the Redmen school. Only one other Region Six player, Raynor Pearce of Beaver, gained all-state recognition. He-was He-was named as a halfback on the all-state team. The state championship cham-pionship Millard high school team placed two men on the first team, as did Murray arid Tooele. The other three men were from Union, B Y high and Wasatch Academy. No Region Six men were placed plac-ed on the second honor team. Five Cedar high school men were named to the first all-region team, with two of them making the second region team. The players gaining first team honors were Frame, Fred Hamilton, Hamil-ton, end; Jay Perkins, tackle; Bill Jarrett, guard, and Richard Hey-wood, Hey-wood, back. The other first team members were George LeBaron, Hurricane, end; El Roy Stucki, Dixie, tackle; Lyle Dalton, Par-owan, Par-owan, guard; Pearce, Beaver, back; Dick Prince, . Hurricane, back, and Karl Brooks, Dixie, back. Max Torres and Roger Vanden-'berghe, Vanden-'berghe, were named on the second sec-ond team. The team was composed com-posed of Gordon Nuttall, Hurricane, Hurri-cane, and Norman McAllister.
