John T. Rasmussens Commemorate 62nd Wedding Date One of Parowan's highly respected re-spected couples observed their 62nd wedding anniversary on Wednesday of this week, spending spend-ing the "day quietly at their home and receiving visits from the members of their family and friends. These people were Mr. and Mrs. John T. Rasmussen who were married in this community on Nov. 25, 1891, and have lived the largest portion of the married mar-ried life in Parowan. The only time they spent away from Parowan was a 10 year period per-iod during which they were in the Bighorn Basin of Wyoming, helping to settle that area with other members of the L D S church called there in 1901 to colonize the several settlements J in the Basin. No large family gathering was held at this time because of Mrs. Rasmussen's health which isn't too good at present, but those members of their family who were here spent much of the day with them and many friends called on them during th dav.
