Auxiliary War Memorial Poppy The first of the memorial poppies pop-pies which will be worn here Saturday in tribute to America's war dead was presented to Mayor May-or Arnold Anderson today in ceremonies cere-monies at the city administration building. The presentation was made by Mrs. Carlos Jones, American Legion Le-gion Auxiliary president. After the poppy was pinned to his lapel, Mayor Anderson said: "I am proud to wear this little flower w-hich symbolizes our remembrances re-membrances of and honor for those who gave their lives in America's defense. I hope every citizen of Cedar City will join me in wearing a poppy on Sat -1 urday.
