NEWCASTLE Mildred TuPUs Mr. and Mrs. Dean Forsyth are rejoicing over the arrival of their baby boy, born last week. Hal Christensen and Milton Sevy of Cedar City gave lectures on Civil Defense to an Interested audience last Tuesday evening. Members of the 4-H Clubs en-Joyed en-Joyed short films on "Safety and First Aid" Thursday evening. Kenneth Gillies of Las Vegas spent the week visiting with his parents, Mr. and R. M. Gillies. His father was ill but seems to be recovering satisfactorily now. A group of teenagers enjoyed a wiener roast up the canyon Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Carrol Tullis-spent Tullis-spent the week end in Las Vegas taking in the Helldorado cele-biation. cele-biation. Verl Woolsey, Jackie Tullis and Douglas Bowley attended the Stake Aaronic Priesthood outing in Zion Park Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Hulet attended at-tended the wedding of Miss Gwen Reber of Mesquite in the St. George temple Saturday morning, then went on to Mesquite Mes-quite for the wedding dance and reception that evening. Mrs. Hulet Hu-let and Mrs. Reber are sisters. Members of the Aaronic Priesthood Priest-hood gave a very Interesting program pro-gram in Sacrament meeting Sunday Sun-day afternoon. There have been quite a few cases of chicken pox among the younger children in our community.
