Show Proclamation WHEREAS it is appropriate that all citizens pause to pay tribute to the men who have served this country in years past and are still sacrificing for all citizens, and WHEREAS, the roll of those who have given their lives in the ration's defense is long as wars have taken their toll of our finest fin-est young men, and WHEREAS, the memory of those citizens of Cedar City who have made the supreme sacrifice for America should live forever in the hearts of all citizens of out community arid nation, and WHEREAS, the annual wearing wear-ing of the Memorial Poppy is an individual tribute toward the dead, showing that we remember remem-ber they have and are grateful to them. THEREFORE, I, Arnold E. An-cerson, An-cerson, Mayor of Cedar City, do hereby proclaim Saturday, May 29, 1954, to be POPPY DAY in the City of Cedar City, and urge all citizens to observe that day by wearing the memorial poppy.
