Show I Fraud Case Hearinq Slated for January 22 Walter Isaacs, Jr., 22, arrested last month in Cedar City for attempted at-tempted fraud, was bound over to district court for trial on Jan. 22. The Carlin, Nev., youth allegedly al-legedly had broken his federal parole in Nevada by leaving the state and committed several felonies fel-onies in both Nevada and Utah before attempting, early in December De-cember to defraud a Salt Lake City cab driver of $100 in a trip from Salt Lake City to Cedar City. The United States marshal in Salt Lake City has placed a hold on Isaacs for federal prosecution prosecu-tion in connection with the parole par-ole violation, according to Cedar City Police Chief Anton H. Lambert. Lam-bert. The youth is being held in the Iron county jail. |
