Show Home Agent Report Tour Scheduled To Begin January 7 Fern Johnson, newly appointed appoint-ed home agent for Iron county, will begin her reporting tour of southern and eastern Utah counties coun-ties Jan. 7, according to a schedule sched-ule released recently by Dr. Carl Frischknecht, director of the Utah State Extension service at Logan. The tour will extend through March. The schedule is as follows: Jan. 7-12, Millard, Juab; Jan. 21-26, 21-26, Kane, Piute and Garfield; Jan. 28-Feb. 2, Sanpete, Sevier, Wayne; Feb. 10 and part of Feb. 11, Tooele; Feb. 11-16, Salt Lake, Utah; March 10-15, Wasatch, Uintah and Duchesne; March 17-22, 17-22, San Juan, Emery, Grand and Carbon. Beaver, Iron and Washington Wash-ington are to make their own arrangements later. Miss Johnson, who before her appointment spent a year in Great Britain as a 4-H exchange student, has spent the past several sev-eral weeks addressing 4-H club In northern Utah counties on her observations in Britain. Four-H groups in the southern counties also will hear her description of farms and farm life in the British Brit-ish Isles. Succeeding Mrs. Adele S. Decker, Deck-er, Miss Johnson was appointed home agent by the USAC board of trustees early in December. She is a graduate of the Logan college. |
