Show Enterprise Reservoir Still Producing Whoppers Galloping Ted Cox of the Southern Utah Power Co. was the recipient of the Cedar City Wildlife Wild-life Federation's Big Fish contest prize last week, weighing in a two pound five and one-half ounce rainbow from Enterprise reservoir. Commenting on the catch, Ted was as tickled as a "kid with his first catch" as it was the first prize that Ted has won in all the years the contest has been going. Ted pulled in his prize catch from the shore at the prize producing Enterprise reservoir on a fly of undisclosed make and origin. Ted was really excited when he found that Bradshaw Chevrolet Chevro-let had donated the prize instead in-stead of the Southern Utah Pow-ed. Pow-ed. (Tthat's what he expected). In the junior division Burasca-no Burasca-no Curio Shop offered a valuable prize in trade to Robert Seeg-miller Seeg-miller who was Just as lucky as Ted at the reservoir. Although his fish was not quite as big, his one pound nine ouncer was good ' enough to take top honors. It is noteworthy to the fishermen fisher-men in the area who are trying for the big ones that, with only one exception, all of the prize winning fish have come from Enterprise En-terprise reservoir this year. This week's big fish prize winners win-ners will receive prizes from the Safeway store and Hamilton Electric in the senior and Jun-! ion divisions, respectively. |
